Problem
Despite the massive size of the staking market, the staking experience remains fundamentally broken.
Staking is difficult to understand.
Does the staked assets get sent somewhere? How are they locked? How are they contributing to a protocol's security? How are the staking economics defined? Staking is extremely complicated to fully grasp and understand.
Staking functions differently across protocols.
Staking is not identical across protocols. Each protocol will have their own staking mechanism implemented, making it even more tedious for users to research.
There are too many validators.
There is at least a hundred validators to analyze on each protocol, thousands if we look across all protocols. It's overwhelming to try to assess and conduct due diligence on all validators.
There are no dedicated tools to manage staking across multiple protocols.
