Problem

Despite the massive size of the staking market, the staking experience remains fundamentally broken.

  • Staking is difficult to understand.

    • Does the staked assets get sent somewhere? How are they locked? How are they contributing to a protocol's security? How are the staking economics defined? Staking is extremely complicated to fully grasp and understand.

  • Staking functions differently across protocols.

    • Staking is not identical across protocols. Each protocol will have their own staking mechanism implemented, making it even more tedious for users to research.

  • There are too many validators.

    • There is at least a hundred validators to analyze on each protocol, thousands if we look across all protocols. It's overwhelming to try to assess and conduct due diligence on all validators.

  • There are no dedicated tools to manage staking across multiple protocols.
